Elizabeth Quay is Perth’s current water front project which is currently under construction to embrace Perth’s best aspect, the Swan River.


Named after Queen Elizabeth, the project is on the North Shore of Perth, Covering over 10 hectares of prime riverfront to left of Barrack Street Jetty, which will remain open while work is underway for Elizabeth Quay.


Currently the foundation work and construction of the inlet walls are completed with the fascia panel installation still in progress. The initial estimated time of completion of the inlet and associated infrastructure was expected to take 30 months.


Elizabeth Quay is going to provide so much opportunity for Western Australians to work, live, dine & relax by the water. It is said to attract more than 4 million visitors, create more than 1,600 future jobs and a future workplace for more than 10,000 people. The development will also include much needed hotel and short stay accommodation with 9 building sites containing 1,700 residential apartments, 150,000 square metres of office space and 39,000 square metres of retail space.


The Towers at Elizabeth Quay are expected to be the centrepiece of the development and is the most significant and ambitious waterfront project ever with amazing views of the Swan River, including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom residential apartments, pool and gym.


There will be a $1.3 million artwork statement installed at the beginning of the 110m footbridge at the entrance of Elizabeth Quay to the 2.7 hectare inlet surrounded by a split level promenade, new public spaces, shops, cafes, restaurants and more exciting entertainment venues. The inlet will be leading to an island which includes a kiosk, children’s playground and magnificent views of the city.


Ongoing construction of private buildings will be happening up until 2018 and beyond.
